School Closure Learning

Week 2 - Home Learning

Good morning Class 4, I hope you're all staying safe and looking after each other at home. It is becoming more important to stay home and stay safe.

Please send pictures any work that you're proud of to the year 6 e-mail address at the bottom of the page. Keep up the good work.

PE    9-9:30am

Each day we are going to start with an online PE lesson. During this period of isolation, it is vitally important to stay fit and healthy, both in our minds and body. We will start each day with a PE lesson run by Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) live on Youtube. Please follow the link and give it your all.

Please do continue your love for reading by setting aside at least 20min a day to read a book of your choice. Make sure you save the Harry Potter book from school for the English lessons.

Computing

With more time on your hands at home, it would be a great time to create an adventurous and well designed game. Give it a go on Purple Mash. From the home page click 'computing' then you want to look for 2DIY3D. Most of you will have tried this in class, if you haven't then watch the instructional video.

Key information

Please keep an eye on this page for next weeks work.

Parents

Please do not feel like you need to 'home school' your child. The work that has been set is work that they are capable of doing independently. If they are finding any area too difficult, they are encouraged to research the solution using websites like BBC bitesize, if they are not able to find a solution don't worry they can leave that section of work. Our main aim is to make sure everyone is safe and happy during this difficult time. Thank you for your continued support.

Home activities

At the bottom of the page I have attached a PDF file with a few fun activities for the whole family.

E-mail

If you have any problems with any part of the work please e-mail and I will get back to you as soon as possible with the help that you need.
