School Closure Learning
Please read the following information regarding Zoom meetings.
13th July - 17th July - Home Learning (our last week!)
Important notice - Please return all school books - The Harry Potter books that were given out at the start of lock down AND your home reading books (Collins big cat books). There is a box at the school entrance for you to return books to. Please put books in a carrier bag, clearly labeled with the child's name and class. Thank you.
Good morning Class 4, I hope you're all staying safe and looking after each other at home. It is becoming more important to stay home and stay safe.
Make sure you keep sending me pictures of the work you complete. Send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
There are lots of lessons for you to be getting on with. Please make sure you do your English, Maths, SPAG and Reading each day. The other Topic lessons as well as PE are also important, but please do not worry if you are unable to complete them all.
Maths - Oak Academy
Anyone having trouble with the link for Maths lessons, they are easy to find on the oak academy website. When on the website click classroom, subjects, year 6 then scroll down to chapter 2 (the second section of lessons) and find the lesson that has been set for the day (on the maths learning grid).
End of year celebrations and video
On Wednesday 15th July we will be holding a socially distant farewell picnic to celebrate your time at St Mary's. At this celebration you will receive gifts and your end of primary school farewell video (on DVD). We hope to have a date set for the end of term.
We will confirm the date by Monday 13th July - after we have checked the weather forecast. TIME AND DATE TBC ON MONDAY 13TH JULY

The year 6 Farewell video will hopefully be completed by the end of the week. Keep checking your emails for news on this.
Have a look at the PE challenges information in the link at the bottom of the page (title - year 3-6 stay at home). They are designed to challenge you and keep you active throughout lock down. Enjoy the challenges and I hope to see some videos of you giving them a go sent to our class email address.
BBC Bitesize - Daily lessons.
There are some great lessons on BBC bitesize every day, these lessons will help you on your way to high school. If you have time to spare then give them a go.
Remember, stay safe and look after those in your homes today.
