Following the Catholic Schools Inspectorate inspection of St Mary’s RC Primary School, Osbaldeston, on Wednesday 8 July 2026, below is the final inspection report.
The report recognises the caring and inclusive community at St Mary’s, the strong pastoral support provided for our children, and the commitment of staff and leaders to the Catholic mission of the school. It also celebrates the positive contribution our pupils make to the prayer life of the school.
As part of our continued commitment to improvement, the report identifies priorities to further develop pupils’ religious literacy, broaden their experience of the Church’s rich prayer traditions, and strengthen the monitoring and evaluation of Catholic life and mission, religious education, and prayer and liturgy.
We are proud of the many strengths recognised within the report and remain fully committed to building upon them as we continue to ensure that every child is supported to Believe, Achieve and Flourish with Christ at the centre of our school community.
