Opening Times

School opens at 8.45 a.m. and closes at 3.15 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Children come into the school playground from 8.35 a.m but must be supervised until the bell rings at 8.45 am. The gates are locked at 8.50am to enable registers to be completed correctly in school. If you are late you will need to sign your child in the Sign In App in the school entrance.

After school we lock the school gates at 3.20 pm each day to allow our outdoor After School Clubs to run in a safe environment.

Our standard preschool hours are also 8.45 a.m. to 3.15 p.m.

Our Breakfast Club, Sunrise, opens at 7.50 a.m. each day and the Sunset After School Club closes at 5.30 p.m. This is run by our wonderful school staff and places need to booked in advance via the School Spider app.

Sunrise and Sunset Club

At St Mary's, our Sunrise and Sunset Club provides a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for children before and after the school day. Led by our dedicated and caring support staff, the club offers a true "home from home" experience where every child feels safe, valued and happy.

Our Sunrise Club gives children the opportunity to begin their day in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Children can enjoy a nutritious breakfast, spend time with friends and take part in a range of activities before moving smoothly into the school day, helping them to feel settled, confident and ready to learn.

At the end of the day, Sunset Club provides a safe and enjoyable space where children can unwind, relax and have fun after school. Pupils can choose from a variety of activities including creative play, games, reading, outdoor play and quiet spaces for relaxation. Our caring staff ensure that every child is supported and encouraged, helping them to feel comfortable and at ease.

Healthy lifestyles are important to us, and children are provided with nutritious breakfasts in the morning and healthy tea-time snacks in the afternoon, ensuring they have the energy they need throughout the day.

The strong relationships between our staff and pupils help to create a family atmosphere where children of different ages play, learn and socialise together. Whether children attend every day or occasionally, Sunrise and Sunset Club offers a safe, friendly and enjoyable environment where they can thrive.

We are proud of the care, support and opportunities our Sunrise and Sunset Club provides, helping families while ensuring that every child begins and ends their school day feeling happy, secure and cared for.
