Class 3 is a very special year for children at St Mary's as it is the year where children receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time. These sacraments are special meetings with God and are a cause for great celebration and reflection. 

At St Mary's, we follow the I Belong Holy Communion programme by Aileen Urquhart as a basis for our preparation for these special sacraments. Through reflection and discussion, the children develop a deeper relationship with Jesus. 

There are eleven preparation sessions which follow the following themes:

Our sacramental programme is led by Mr Wormleighton with the help of Father David.  If you would like your child to be part of the next programme, they MUST have been baptised before enrolling.
