Working as a Welfare Assistant you will secure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils. We would love to hear from you if you are a positive, friendly and hard working person who enjoys working with children and as part of a team. We are looking for a welfare assistant who: • Is calm, patient and nurturing • Is resilient, committed and flexible and able to ‘think on their feet’ • Builds excellent relationships with children and staff. • Help children to organise playground games • Take initiative to support the smooth running of lunchtime activities; • Promote the welfare and safety of children during lunchtime; • Clean down surfaces and pack away lunchtime furniture In return, the school can provide: • A supportive, nurturing working environment • A staff team who are well trained, highly motivated and supportive • Children who are positive and demonstrate excellent behaviour Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
