Summary:  The Governors of Saint Mary’s RC Primary School Osbaldeston are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Site Supervisor and cleaner.

The hours will be 3:30 until 6:30 each evening.

However we need someone who has a flexible approach to work as there will be 15hrs core cleaning hours each week with the additional 5 hours being general maintenance site supervisor tasks. These 5 hours may, by negotiation, be put together to enable the post holder to complete larger jobs.
Cleaning role:
This role will involve working to clean the school to a very high standard.
Site Supervisor role:
The role will involve undertaking general maintenance tasks. These may include decorating, using power tools to put up shelves etc., clearing gutters and other outdoor tasks. There will be some basic health and safety testing routines to be carried out. You will need to be able to manage your time and tasks working closely with our school bursar and head teacher ensure that tasks are carried out to a high standard and at appropriate times of the school day and subject to other events on in school.


Essential Qualifications Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable Qualifications NVQ or equivalent in a relevant subject

Desirable  Experience Previous experience of cleaning
Basic DIY/repair / gardening skills for the upkeep of the building and surrounding areas

Good communication skills

Desirable Experience                                         Experience of working in a school
