Oxford Owl

As part of our English learning at St Mary's RC Primary School, we are subscribed to the website ‘Oxford Owl’.

The website contains a large ‘e-bookshelf’ containing over 200 e-books which you and your children can read, listen to and interact with. Lots of them also contain activities for the children to complete to support their comprehension of the story, a skill that a lot of children find difficult.

The website also contains a large ‘Parents’ section which provides you with a whole variety of information about your child’s education including ‘Year Group Guides’, ‘Phonics Information’ and ‘Glossary of Terms’ used in School. This includes both English and Maths Learning. There are also ideas for games and activities you can complete together.

To access the books and resources for free, enter the Website Address or click on the link www.oxfordowl.co.uk. Click the pink button ‘My Class Login’ and enter the relevant details for your child’s class which have been sent to you in your child's learning pack.
