Body Coach Joe Wicks has launched a live school work out PE lessons for children who are at home during the coronavirus outbreak. The 33-year-old dad has vowed to become the ‘nation’s PE teacher’, while schools are closed under government coronavirus advice. Joe, who already has a legion of followers on his YouTube channel, last week announced he is determined to help get kids moving and feeling positive. The fitness expert is famous for his short workouts, which use no kit and can be done in the home. His ‘PE lessons’ will begin today at 9am on his YouTube channel.
Go to The Body Coach TV on YouTube and simply join in the 30 minute workout from 9am today.
Announcing the news on Twitter, he said: "I'm going to do a live workout called 'PE With Joe' on my YouTube channel The Body CoachTV. It's a workout designed specifically for kids because when the schools are closed there is no PE. Don't worry, I've got you. I'm going to take this over. I'm going to get your kids moving, feeling energised, positive, optimistic. So tune in Monday morning at 9am and every day. It's a 30 minute session for little kids right up to secondary school. Get involved, have fun. We're going to be doing loads of basic exercise. You don't need a lot of room. I'm going to take care of it. This is happening. I am going to be the nation's PE teacher."
